About Emma

Ok, so you’ve probably read Our Story.... and you’re thinking, ‘Emma must be pretty switched on, ’ or ‘My Joe needs OURS™ DVD’ or ‘Emma eats too much silverbeet. ’
And you’re not wrong! (well I’m not sure about the silverbeet) Emma has a Diploma in Fine Arts from Otago, a Diploma in Teaching from Palmerston North, a certificate in Small Business Management from Te Wananga o Aotearoa, and also a certificate in Television Production from NMIT.
She was a Secondary School Photography and Art teacher (for a long time.... I think she must be one of these lucky people that never seems to age) a NZQA moderator, verifier and check moderator in NCEA Visual Art L1-3. Prior to teaching she was a waitress, sheep rousie, shop manager, cleaner, plant nursery worker, car factory worker, self employed paper-mache artist, barperson and a photographic client liason officer and in the ‘early years’ travelled overseas. Woah.
If we skip down the path a wee bit.... Today Emma is a Kiwi Mum who called on her life and career experiences and a bit of kiwi ingenuity to produce the OURS™ DVDs for the enjoyment of New Zealand children.
